OUR NEWS
First group bereavement support sessions of 2020 are underway.
Last week, we started our first set of group bereavement support sessions for 2020. These are running in Coventry at The Moat Family Hub.
As always, the group sessions aim to bring children, young people and families together to explore feelings around loss and bereavement, working together to find strategies for dealing with challenging emotions.
The first session focused on memories, with the groups creating a memory box and thinking about what might go into the box.
We are really looking forward to the remaining sessions and meeting with the families attending over the coming weeks.
A new website for Guy's Gift!
We’re absolutely thrilled to be launching our brand new website today (13th January 2020), which has been developed with Aaron from Zapped Marketing.
A big thank you to Aaron for his valuable input and ideas, and for his patience along the way whilst we pulled together all the bits we needed.
We think it looks fab! Thank you!
2019 Lantern Walk
We had a great time at our 2019 Lantern Walk.
It's always a special afternoon to come together and remember someone who isn't with us at Christmas Time.
A huge thanks to the team at Coop Mid Counties who helped to put on a great afternoon alongside the Guy's Gift team and volunteers.

A Guy's Gift trip down to London
We were so pleased, on Wednesday, to head down to London to meet the Leatherseller's Company and to be the first-ever recipient of a fantastic donation.
This is a new award from donations from individual liverymen, and we were chosen following a vote from within the company.
It is such a privilege to be invited down to receive this in person, and a fantastic honour to be selected and recognised for the work we do as an organisation.
This substantial donation will make a significant difference into the support we can put in place for bereaved children, young people and their families across the county.
A great big thank you goes out to everyone involved!
Alison’s Fuller School of Dance
