Bereavement Support Groups
Our bereavement support groups bring together children and young people who have experienced the death of someone important to them.
Groups run over five consecutive weeks and provide a safe, supportive space where children and young people can talk, listen, take part in activities and meet others who understand what it is like to be bereaved.
The groups are facilitated by trained Guy’s Gift staff and volunteers. Activities are designed to help children and young people explore their feelings, remember the person who died and develop ways of coping with bereavement.
