GDPR: Keeping data safe when working with children and young people

This one-hour session explores the importance of GDPR and keeping children and young people’s data safe. It is particularly useful for volunteers who may be involved in, or supporting, our group and 1:1 work.

The session is encouraged for all Guy’s Gift volunteers, whether or not you work directly with children and young people.

The session will cover:

  • What is GDPR

  • Why is it relevant to working with children and young people

  • How to manage and protect children and young people’s personal information as a volunteer

This session will take place via MS Teams.
