Join our Volunteer Induction Day and take the first steps towards becoming part of the Guy's Gift volunteer team. Whether you're planning to support our bereavement groups, community events, fundraising, or behind-the-scenes activities, the induction day will give you the knowledge and confidence to get started.
This session is taking place in Kenilworth.
During the day, you’ll learn about Guy’s Gift, about the work we do with bereaved children and young people across Coventry and Warwickshire. You’ll find out more detail about various volunteering opportunities, and some of the activities we use.
You’ll also have a safeguarding session, to help prepare you for any direct work with children and young people.
As this is an all day session, please make arrangements for lunch. There is plenty locally if you want to pop out, or of course there will be space to eat a packed lunch if that’s your preference. We’ll provide teas and coffees on the day.
This is an important part of your volunteer journey and a great opportunity to build your knowledge before getting involved in our services and events.
