Nuneaton Group sessions

Support our first in-person bereavement support sessions for the 2026-27 academic year.

These sessions will run in Nuneaton (full details to follow), and will provide bereavement support for primary-aged and secondary-aged children over 5 consecutive weeks. Our bereavement support sessions provide a safe, supportive space for children to connect with others who have experienced the death of someone important to them.

Volunteers will support the session leader, help children engage with activities, and contribute to creating a warm and welcoming environment.

Session dates:

  • 4th November 2026

  • 11th November 2026

  • 18th November 2026

  • 25th November 2026

  • 2nd December 2026

Sessions will fun from 16:00-18:15, and it is important that as a volunteer you’re able to commit to all 5 sessions.

We’re looking for 4-6 volunteers to support these sessions.

The groups leader will provide details of a briefing session ahead of the first group session. This will take place via Teams, and will give you an opportunity to understand the nature of the formed group, and your allocated roles. If you have a preference to work with older or younger children, please do let us know when you sign up for this volunteering opportunity.
