Support our bereavement support groups in Rugby during January and February 2027.
These sessions will provide bereavement support for both primary aged and secondary aged children over 5 consecutive weeks. Children will have the opportunity to meet others who have experienced the death of someone important to them, in a safe and supportive environment.
Volunteers will support the session leader to help engage children and young people with activities by offering encouragement and practical support during sessions. You’ll also help create a warm and welcoming environment

Sessions will fun from 14:00-16:00, and it is important that as a volunteer you’re able to commit to all 5 sessions.Volunteers must be able to commit to all 5 sessions
A short briefing session will take place via Teams before the first session. The group leader will provide information about the group, your role and what to expect.
We’re looking for 6 volunteers. If you have a preference for working with primary aged or secondary aged children, please let us know when you sign up. We’re looking for volunteers to lead the parents sessions at this venue.
